2009 Honor Award winner of The Vertical Garden Competition, Baan Lae Suan Fair

Every year at Muang Thong Thani, a garden competition is a part of  ‘Baan Lae Suan Fair’ created by Baan Lae Suan magazine.

 

By 2009, the theme of garden competition was a Vertical garden.

A well-known image of  ‘Chinese medicine cabinet’ inspired a vertical green wall with the apparent idea of grid line-boxes on a wall. Some boxes were transformed into planter boxes, protruded from the vertical wall for creating a enclosed space. For plantings concept, various herb plants, which can be used for producing food and medicines, were selected to plant in the boxes. So, user can get some herbs as same as Chinese people who buy herbs and medicines at Chinese pharmacy.
